About Amanda: Amanda Faye Lacson, MA-TLA is a first-generation Filipina-American writer, photographer, historian and teaching artist. For a decade, Amanda owned and operated FamilyArchive Business, helping clients organize and digitize photos and videos, record oral histories, restore digital images, and create legacy materials like books and prints. Now Amanda focuses on providing tools for family historians, especially those with less-documented stories, such as individuals navigating complex identities or ancestral trauma. From Amanda: "As the mother of a toddler, I am constantly reflecting on the legacy I want to pass down and what aspects I might want to interrupt."

Our Community GuidelinesTogether, we can build a strong community of respect, honor, and understanding.

1. Timeliness is key! Arrive no more than 10 minutes before or 15 minutes after a session’s start time.
2. Facilitators support the caregiver, while the caregiver supports the child.
3. Bond with your child - stick together for connections.
4. No phones, just play! We’ll capture the moments for you. Your presence is a present.
5. Parent your way; different is ok! As long as it’s positive, we welcome all approaches.
